Douala International Eye Center is an ophthalmology center specializing in the prevention, medical and surgical treatment of eye diseases including surgery for myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia and cataract surgeries, cornea and keratoconus. Our center specializes in eye surgery, general ophthalmology. Below are some of the eye diseases:
– Secondary Cataract
This is the opacification of the posterior capsule, on which the intraocular implant rests.
Clinical signs:
- decreased vision
- blurry vision
- decreased visual acuity
- glare
Treatment:
- Yag Laser capsulotomy, on an outpatient basis, under local anesthesia by drops
- Thanks to the Yag Laser, the surgeon performs an opening of the opacified posterior capsule, in order to clear the visual axis.
